The Urban County Council's Public Input Subcommittee was established to explore and innovate the ways Council could hear from the community. One way that was overwhelmingly supported was the creation of an online platform where community members could get involved in the decisions that shape Lexington.
From those discussions, Engage Lexington was born.
With Engage Lexington, anyone who visits, lives, or works in Fayette County has the ability to provide feedback on the issues that matter most to them. Visit Engage Lexington to learn more about the Urban County Council's roles, processes, and decisions with each issue, and participate in surveys and forums to have your voice heard on important projects and decisions.
How to get started:
Register to participate in the community feedback features of Engage Lexington.
Things to keep in mind:
Your username is public and will appear when you participate on a project page.
When you register, there are optional demographic questions. These are private and are used by the Fayette-Urban County Council to ensure we are connecting with every district.
